Description

Guatemala, Central America. More specifically the Huehuetenango region.

Processing: Fully Washed

This Guatemalan coffee is produced between 1500 m - 2000 m above sea level.

In Mayan culture, the Tz'ikin is a nahual (spirit animal) and the custodian of Mayan lands. Inspired by the protective nahual, we contribute a portion of our profits from every bag sold. This premium goes to 'Coffee Kinder', a 35-day school program that allows children aged 3 to 12 to continue learning while their parents work as day laborers on harvest season activities.

Did you know that?

Did you know that in Guatemala 98% of the coffee plants grow in the shade, which contributes to a higher quality?
